5.4.1.18 Operation 17. Checking the brakes operation while moving, the engine,
steering control, illumination and alarming fixtures operability.
Following tractor operation parameters shall be provided:
- the engine shall operate steadily in all modes;
- controls, visual and audible alarming devices shall be in good working order;
- the left and right service brakes shall be applied simultaneously.
If above conditions are not satisfied, perform required adjustments or repairing of
the tractor corresponding systems.
5.4.1.19 Operation 18. Draining the condensate from the pneumatic system cylin-
der.
To remove the condensate from the pneumatic system cylinder 2 (Figure 5.4.10),
pull the drainage valve ring 1 on the cylinder horizontally in any direction and hold it until
the condensate is completely drained.

5.4.1.20 Operation 19. Checking the brake fluid level in the tanks of the clutch and
brake control hydraulic actuators main cylinders.
Visually check the fluid levels in the tank 2 (Figure 5.4.11) of the clutch main cylin-
der and in the tank 4 of the brake main cylinders. The level shall be between min and max
marks on the tanks bodies. If necessary, unscrew caps 1 of tanks and top up by brake flu-
id up to max marks. Open the tractor side plate hatch to gain access to the tanks 2 and 4.

To monitor the brake fluid in the tanks of the brake main cylinders, the one of the
brake main cylinders caps is additionally equipped with the brake fluid control sensor 3.
When the brake fluid control indicator light lights up on the instruments panel ILU, it is
necessary to stop the tractor, kill the engine and top up the brake main cylinders tanks with
brake fluid up to max marks.
