- fasten plate 12, spacers 15 on lower links ends 14 using bolts 16, then screw
nuts with washers and tighten them by torque from 320 to 360 N·m;
- install the cotter pins 4 (Figure 4.3.4) of drawbars into openings ("drawbar is un-
locked") to mount the RMD with cross-bar or screwbolts 6 (Figure 4.3.5) installed in
ears as far as they will go into lower links to mount the RMD with stabilizer.
1 – left tip; 2 – left tip ear; 3 – lock nut; 4 – bushing with hexagon; 5 – right tip ear; 6 –
right tip; 7 – screw; 8 – eye ring; 9 – pin; 10 – pivot; 11 – cross-bar; 12 – plate; 13 – pivot; 14
– lower link; 15 – spacer; 16 – bolts with nuts.
ATTENTION:WHEN THE TIPS ARE REMOVED FROM THE LOWER LINKS
ENDS 14 (FIGURE 4.3.6), INSTALL PIVOTS 13 INTO
SHOWN IN FIGURE4.3.6, THEN FIX THEM BY COTTER PINS.
4.3.4Rules for Connecting the Agricultural Machines to RMD
While mounting the implements onto the tractor make sure, there are no people in
the implement mounting area. Take the mounted device lower links grippers' joints from
the SPTA and install them on lower axis of the agricultural machine. Use the RMD controls
to descend the lower links into lower position. Slowly drive to the machine with maximally
lowered grippers of the lower links, until grippers mouth would be under the joint on the
machine frame. To perform coupling, lift the links rear ends until joints would become fixed
in the lower links grippers. Use cotter pins to fix the joint on the machine axis.
Connect the upper link to the agricultural machine. Between the cheeks in upper
part of the machine column, install the upper link joint with gripper onto the pivot, while in-
creasing and decreasing the upper link length if necessary. Use the right drawbar to adjust
the implement in transverse plane. Adjust in the longitudinal plane to provide uniform pen-
etration depth of the mounted implement tillage tools by changing the upper link length
while rotating the link pipe into corresponding direction.
Perform final adjustment of the machines on the field.
Prior to work, make sure that:
-the tractor parts are not dangerously close to the implement elements;
- upper link does not touch the PTO shaft guard when the implement is lowest posi-
tion;
-the cardan drive from the PRO shaft is not too long and with large angles of joints
and there should be no separating forces;
-the PTO shaft guard shall not touch the machine cardan drive guard;
