3.4 The Tractor Final Assembly and Running In

3.4.1 The Tractor Final Assembly

The BELARUS-921.6 tractor is delivered to the customer assembled and final as-
sembly is not required.

3.4.2 Maintenance Prior the Tractor Running In

Prior to putting the new tractor into operation perform following actions:
- wash the tractor, remove preservation lubricant (if there is any on the tractor).
- carefully visually inspect the tractor, check its completeness and availability of the
operational documentation;
- remove accumulator batteries, get them into working condition and install back in
their place;
- inspect tightening of the external threaded connections and tighten them if neces-
sary;
- visually inspect for air-tightness the pipelines and units of the lubrication, feeding
and cooling systems, and SCR system;
- check level of brake fluid in the vessels of the clutch and service brakes hydraulic
drives, top up if necessary according to Section 5 "Maintenance";
- check oil level in the engine oil sump, transmission, FDA casing, FDA cardan drive
intermediate supports, FDA wheel gears housings, FDA wheel gears upper conical pairs,
HMS and HPS oil tanks and top up if necessary according to Section 5 "Maintenance";
- drain fuel from the fuel tank and fill the fuel tank with settled fresh fuel; during win-
ter by winter grade, during summer by summer grade;
- drain AdBlue reagent from the tank and fill the tank with (28±1) litres of fresh Ad-
Blue reagent, which corresponds to the tank filling volume;
- check the cooling fluid level in the engine cooling system and top up if necessary
according to Section 5 "Maintenance";
- check pressure in tyres and bring it up to required rated value if necessary accord-
ing to Table 3.2.3;
- make sure that protective guarding fenders are in place (guarding of the rear PTO
shaft shank etc.);
- check the engine operation, operability of illumination fixtures and alarms, action of
brakes and steering control. Also, check operation of other tractor systems and units
according to installed instrumentation readings;
Prior to running in, check tightening of hubs fastening bolts (bolts tightening torque
shall be from 300 to 400 N·m), tightening of nuts for rear wheels fastening to the hub (tight-
ening torque shall be from 300 to 350 N·m), tightening of nuts for the front wheels disks
tightening to FDA wheel gears flanges (tightening torque shall be from 200 to 250 N·m), and
on tractors with varying disk offset check tightening of nuts for rear wheels disks fastening to
rims brackets (tightening torque shall be from 180 to 240 N·m).

3.4.3 The Tractor Running In

ATTENTION: THE FIRST 30 HOURS OF THE TRACTOR OPERATION HAVE
GREAT EFFECT ON THE TRACTOR PERFORMANCE FIGURES AND SERVICE LIFE.
YOUR TRACTOR WILL OPERATE RELIABLY FOR A LONG TIME IF RUNNING IN WAS
PERFORMED CORRECTLY AND IF MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS SPECIFIED IN
SECTION 5 "MAINTENANCE" ARE CARRIED OUT WITHIN STATED PERIODS!
ATTENTION: IT IS OBLIGATORY TO RUN IN THE TRACTOR FOR 30H! UNTIL
THE FIRST MAINTENANCE (MT-1) (125 H) LOAD THE TRACTOR UP TO 80% OR
NOMINAL POWER!
