2.8.2.4 The multifunction indicator (MFI) 17 (Figure2.8.1) is the liquid-crystal display,
which simultaneously displays information in two fields 1 and 2 (Figure 2.8.3):
1 – numerical designation of the GB drive activated; 2 – current numerical designa-
tion of one of the tractor system's parameters value.
The information field 1 (Figure 2.8.3) displays letter A, since there are no transmis-
sion control units.
The information field 2 (Figure 2.8.3)displays following parameters:
- the engine total apparent operating time;
- instantaneous fuel consumption;
- vehicle network voltage;
- remaining fuel volume;
- operation time on remaining fuel;
- the engine operating time for selected time span;
- speed sensors performance diagnostics;
- fuel volume sensor, frequency-response (FVS.F) performance diagnostics;
- CAN-bus connection to the MFD and performance diagnostics.
Switching between indication modes "The engine total apparent operating time",
"Instantaneous fuel consumption", "Remaining fuel volume", "Operation time on remaining
fuel", "Vehicle network voltage", "The engine operating time for selected time span", and
failure messages is performed using the Mode button on the control panel 19 (Figure
2.1.1).
Examples of indication on MFI and short description of the tractor operation param-
eters are given in Table 2.8.2.
