- wipe the MFE sealing ring by damp napkin and install the MFE into the air cleaner
housing.
Service life of cleaned MFE is not equals to the new MFE service life.
Replace the SFE after three replacements of the MFE.
IT IS PROHIBITED TO BLOW OFF BY EXHAUST GASES, WASH AND KNOCK
OUT THE MAIN FILTERING ELEMENT.
ATTENTION:WHEN THE AIR CLEANER IS ASSEMBLED, IT IS NECESSARY TO
CHECK AIR-TIGHTNESS OF ALL CONNECTIONS IN THE INLET DUCT!
To check air-tightness use the device KI-4870 GOSNITI or equivalent. If such de-
vice is not available, check air-tightness visually. Damaged connecting elements shall be
replaced.
IT IS PROHIBITED TO OPERATE THE TRACTOR WITH LEAKING INLET DUCT.
Leakage from the turbocharger air supply circuit can have negative effect on the clog-
ging indicator readings reliability, which in turn can cause large throughput of unclean air con-
taining high concentrations of dust passing through the turbocharger and if this dust gets into
the oil, it will lead to accelerated wear of the engine cylinder-piston unit.

5.5 Seasonal Maintenance

Perform the seasonal maintenance simultaneously with the next scheduled mainte-
nance. Scope of works to be performed during seasonal maintenance is specified in Table
5.5.1.
