2.8.5.2 The Multifunction Display Programming Method
When the parameter fixed value is selected, the MFD shall be programmed accord-
ing to following method:
- when the Parameter button (Figure 2.8.4) is pressed for the first time, the LCD will
switch to the mode of programmable parameter designation and its numerical value view-
ing. Parameters are switched cyclically when the button is pressed repeatedly;
- when the Value button (Figure 2.8.4) is pressed repeatedly, the numerical value of
the set programmable parameter is changed;
- this mode will be automatically deactivated if Parameter and Value buttons are not
pressed for seven seconds.
When the mode is deactivated, last parameters values (selected by the Value but-
ton) will be memorised.
When the parameter variable value is input, the MFD shall be programmed accord-
ing to following method:
- use the Parameter button to select parameter to set its values;
- press the Mode button twice, the least significant digit of the numerical value will
start blinking on the LCD;
- press the Value button to change value of the blinking parameter digit;
- press the Parameter button to switch to the more significant digit;
- press the Mode button twice to deactivate programming mode of the variable val-
ue of any parameter;
- the set parameter values will stop blinking after deactivation of this mode;
- newly set value will be displayed last in the list of allowed values for the parameter
programming.
Input of the parameter user-defined value is impossible if the Mode button is
pressed one time in the programming mode;
If buttons Mode, Parameter, Value are not pressed for seven seconds in the mode
of variable value input, the MFD will automatically switch to the main operation mode of
the LCD and will save the set values of the parameters.
It is allowed to input one variable value within following ranges:
- for Z parameter - from 23 to 69;
- for I parameter - from 1000 to 4000;
- for R parameter - from 400 to 1000;
- for K parameter - from 2360 to 4000;
- for KV2 parameter - from 0.346 to 0.600;
- for ZV parameter - from 12 to 99;
- for V parameter - from 0 to 1000.
