TO work with the rear PTO shaft, remove the protective cap 1 (Figure 3.2.1), which co-
vers the shank 9. For this purpose it is necessary to squeeze the cap near its base and pull it
downwards and towards yourself. When work with the RPTO is finished, it is mandatory to in-
stall the protective cap 1 back in its place, for which purpose it is necessary to put the cap 1
onto shank 9 and push on it lengthwise until the cap 1 reliably fixes in the housing 6 hole.

To replace the rear PTO shaft shank, proceed as follows:
- unscrew nuts 3 and remove the housing 5 complete with the cover 6;
- unscrew bolts 7 and remove plate 8;
- remove the shank 9;
- install another shank into the spline opening while lubricating the centring shoulder
with grease;
- install the plate 8, tighten bolts 7, install housing 5 with the cover 6 and fasten
them by nuts 3.
ATTENTION: USE THE REAR PTO SHAFT SYNCHRONOUS DRIVE ONLY
WHEN THE TRACTOR ASSEMBLY MOVES AT SPEEDS NO HIGHER THAN 8 KM/H.
OTHERWISE THE TRACTOR POWER TRANSMISSION CAN BE SEVERILY DAM-
AGED!
