2.19 Controlling the HMS Pump

The HMS pump activation roller 5 (Figure 2.19.1) has two positions:
- "HMS pump is ON" – roller 5 is rotated clockwise up to the stop;
- "HMS pump is OFF" – roller 5 is rotated counter-clockwise up to the stop;
Prior to rotating the roller 5 into any of these two positions, unscrew the bolt 4 by 1-1.5
revolutions and rotate the roller 5 with the retaining plate. Tighten the bolt 4.
The HMS pump activation diagram is shown in Figure 2.19.1 and on the instruction
plate, which is affixed to the HMS pump drive housing.

Note – Position "HMS pump is ON" is shown in Figure 2.19.1.
ATTENTION: ACTIVATE AND DEACTIVATE THE HMS PUMP ONLY WHEN THE
ENGINE RUNS ON MINIMUM IDLE SPEED!
In case of HMS malfunctions, which lead to the oil leakages from the hydraulic
mounted system, deactivate the HMS pump while transporting the tractor to the repair site.

2.20 Controlling the HMS Distributor Sections (Remote Cylinders)

The controls of the remote cylinders with RP70-921 distributor installed are shown
in Figure 2.20.1.
