5.2 Providing an Access to the Tractor Component Parts for Maintenance
Prior to maintenance it is necessary to remove both side members 9, 10 and to
open the bonnet 3 (Figure 5.2.1).
To open side members 9, 10, proceed as follows:
- unscrew one bolt 7 and two bolts 8;
– remove side members 9, 10.
To open the bonnet 3, proceed as follows:
- open the lock 2 by pulling the control rope handle 1;
- lift the bonnet 3;
- fix it in opened position using the rod 4 in the bracket 5;
- make sure that the bonnet 3 is reliably fixed in opened position.
To close the bonnet, proceed as follows:
- slightly lift the bonnet 3 to release the rod 4 from the bracket 5;
- fasten the rod 4 back in its proper location;
- lower the bonnet 3 in lower position until the typical click is heard (lock 2 actuates).
Fasten side members 9, 10 using bolts 7, 8.
Open the hatch 6 to provide easier access to the tanks of the clutch and brake con-
trol hydraulic actuators main cylinders and to the washer tank, which is installed on the
cab.
