d) if the value (A - B) is within range from 0 to 8 mm – use torque from 100 to 140 N·m to
tighten the lock nuts 1 and 3 of the steering link while not changing its length.

5.4.3.4 Operation 44. Checking / adjusting the control of the service brakes
ATTENTION: CHECK, ADJUST AND REMEDY FAULTS IN THE BRAKE SYSTEM
ONLY WHEN THE ENGINE IS STOPPED AND THE TRACTOR IS IN HORIZONTAL PO-
SITION WITH WHEEL CHOKES PLACED UNDER WHEELS, WHICH PREVENT SPON-
TANEOUS MOVEMENT OF THE TRACTOR! ONLY DEALERS SHOULD PERFORM AD-
JUSTMENT OF THE BRAKE SYSTEM AND REMEDY ITRS FAULTS!
1, 2 – brake main cylinder; 3 – fork; 4 – nut; 5 – thrust adjusting bolt; 6 – pivot; 7 –
lock nut; 8, 9 – pedal; 10 – pipeline, which interconnects two brake main cylinders.

To adjust the tractor service brakes control, proceed as follows:
1. Check and if necessary install the pedals 8 and 9 (Figure 5.4.22) pads into the
same plane using the thrust adjusting bolts 5 by screwing them in to depth (20  3) mm.
Lock the nuts 4.
