3.2.4 Stopping the Tractor

To stop the tractor, proceed as follows:
- decrease the engine RPM;
- press the clutch pedal as far as it will go;
- place the GB ranges and gears switching lever into neutral position;
- release the clutch pedal;
- stop the tractor using service brakes;
- apply the parking brake.
ATTENTION: TO STOP THE TRACTOR IN EMERGENCY, PRESS THE CLUTCH
AND BRAKE PEDALS SIMULTANEOUSLY AND SHARPLY!

3.2.5 Stopping the Engine

ATTENTION: PRIOR TO THE ENGINE STOPPIG, LOWER IMPLEMENTS ONTO
GROUND (IF THEY ARE LIFTED), LET THE ENGINE RUN AT (1000100) RPM FOR 3 -
5 MINUTES. THIS WILL HELP TO DECREASE THE ENGINE COOLING FLUID TEM-
PERATURE!
To stop the engine, proceed as follows:
- place the rear PTO shaft control lever into position "ON" and place the rear PTO
shaft switching handle from independent to synchronous drive (if synchronous drive is ac-
tivated) into position "Neutral";
- place the FDA drive control handle into position "FDA is OFF":
- place the hydraulic mounted system distributor control handles into neutral posi-
tion;
- turn the air-conditioner of ran-heater off;
- rotate the starter and instruments switch key from position I into position 0;
- if independent drive of the rear PTO shaft is activated, place the rear PTO shaft
switching handle from independent to synchronous drive into position "Neutral";
- turn AB off in case of prolonged stopping.
ATTENTION: TURN AB OFF NO EARLIER THAN TWO MINUTES AFTER THE
ENGINE STOPPING.THIS TIME IS NECESSATY FOR EMPTYING THE SCR PIPELINES
AND MODULES FROM REAGENT AND FOR ACQUIRING INFORMATION IN THE
ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT MEMORY MODULE!
ATTENTION: TO STOP THE ENGINE IN EMERGENCY, ROTATE THE STARTER
AND INSTRUMENTS SWITCH KEY FROM POSITION I INTO POSITION 0!

3.2.6 Dismounting the Tractor

Leave the tractor (except for emergencies) through the cab left door. Rules for escap-
ing the tractor in emergencies are described in item 3.5.3ofsubsection 3.5 "Actions in emer-
gency situations".
While leaving the tractor make sure that all actions from subsection 3.2.5 "Stopping
the engine" are performed and the tractor and mounted machines devices are lowered.
