To clean the filter of the cab ventilation and heating system, proceed as follows:
- to gain access to the filter, install support or small ladder;
- unscrew two screws 2 (Figure 5.4.15) with plastic heads, which are located under
the cab roof extending edge;
- remove the panel 1 and take out the filter 3;
- slightly shake the filter 3, to remove free dust particles from the filter. Be careful to
prevent the filter damage;
- clean the filter by compressed air under pressure no higher than 0.2 MPa. Keep
the hose nozzle at the distance at least 300 mm from the filter in order to prevent the pa-
per filtering element damage. Direct the airflow through the filter into direction, which is
opposite to the normal airflow direction, which is indicated by arrows on the filter;
- install the filter 3 into the roof;
- fasten the panel 1 to the cab roof using screws 2;
- clean the filter on the tractor other side by performing the same operations.
ATTENTION: UNDER HUMID CONDITIONS (FOR EXAMPLE DURING EARLY
MORNING) IT IS PROHIBITED TO ACTIVATE THE FAN PRIOR TO THE FILTER SER-
VICING, SINCE IT IS DIFFICULT TO REMOVE MOISTURE FROM THE FILTER!
ATTENTION: WHEN THE TRACTOR OPERATES UNDER CONDITIONS WITH
GREAT DUST CONTENT, IT IS NECESSARY TO CLEAN FILTER EVERY 8 - 10 HOURS
OF OPERATIONS, I.E. DAILY!
5.4.2.9 Operation 28.Checking / adjusting the belt tension in the air-conditioner
compressor drive
Note -This operation is to be performed when the tractor is equipped with the air-
conditioner instead of the fan-heater.
Figure 5.4.16 – Adjusting the belt tension in the air-conditioner compressor drive
1 Checking the belt tension in the air-conditioner compressor drive:
Tension of the belt 1 (Figure 5.4.16) in the air-conditioner compressor drive is con-
sidered to be normal, if its side "engine crankshaft pulley - compressor pulley" deviation
(measured at the centre) is within 4...6 mm, if force (39 + 2.0) N is applied perpendicularly
to the side centre.
