which are specified in subsection 3 .2.8 "Selecting the optimal inner pressure in tyres de-
pending on operation conditions and load on the tractor axis, tyres operation rules".
4.3.6 Rules for Connecting the Agricultural Machines to FMD
Method of the agricultural machines connection to the FMD is the same as for the con-
nection to the RMD.
Install the mounted device lower links grippers' joints onto the agricultural machine low-
er axis. Then slowly drive to the machine with maximally lowered grippers of the lower links,
until grippers mouth would be under the joint on the machine frame. To perform coupling, lift
the links front ends until joints would become fixed in the lower links grippers. Install the cotter
pin 5 (Figure 4.3.7) into special openings on the hitched machine axis.
Use the pivot 4 (Figure 4.3.10) to connect the upper link to the agricultural machine
simultaneously increase or decrease length of the screw with joint 1, and prior to that unscrew
lock nuts 2. Further adjustment of the machine working position perform with already connect-
ed machine by changing length of the upper link while rotating the pipe 3. When adjustment is
finished, tighten the lock nuts 2.
4.3.7 Rules for Switching the FMD from the Working into Transportation Posi-
tion
Place the mounted device into transportation position by lifting the front ends of lower links until
farthest openings will be aligned with the openings in lower links frame 13 (Figure 4.3.8). Remove the
upper link from ears 5 of the bracket and install it into bracket 8 while fixing by the brackets springs.
The FMD in transportation position is shown in Figure 4.3.11.
