2.23 Cab Locks and Handles

The tractor cab left and right doors are lockable from inside by the locks 4 (Figure

2.23.1). The lever 5 is intended for opening the cab left and right doors from inside. The

door lock opens when the lever 5 is moved backwards. The left and right doors locks can

be blocked from the inside of the cab. To block the door lock from the inside of the cab,

move the gripper 3 into uppermost position. To unblock move the gripper 3 into the lower-

most position, accordingly.

When the locks 4 are unblocked, the left door can be opened from the outside by

pressing the button 2 on the handle.

The cab left door lock can be locked and unlocked from the outside. To lock it from

the outside, proceed as follows:

- place the key 1 into opening of the lock barrel, which is located in the button 2;

- without pressing on the button 2, rotate the key into position "Locked".

To unlock the left door lock from the outside of the cab, place the key 1 into opening

of the lock barrel, which is located in the button 2, rotate the key into position "Unlocked",

then press the button 2.

To open the right or left side windshield 1 (Figure 2.23.2), rotate the handle 2 up-

wards and push it off. Then fix the side windshield in opened position, for which purpose

press the handle 2 downwards.

To close the side windshield 1, press the handle 2 upwards, then pull the handle 2

towards yourself, and finally rotate it downwards until the side windshield is fixed in closed

position.
