Trailers, semi-trailers and agricultural machines (equipped with the brake system),
which are hitched to the tractor, shall be equipped with the brake system, which provides
for following:
- machine braking while moving;
- brake application when the machine is disconnected from the tractor;
- machine stopping while parking on inclined surfaces;
- prevention of machine pushing the tractor while the movement speed changes
suddenly;
Trailers, semi-trailers and agricultural machines shall be connected to the tractor by
the safety chain.
While moving with speed from 3 to 5 km/h, check operation of the tractor-trailer train
brake system.
Movement speed on approaching roads and passages shall be no higher than 10 km/h.
Do not stop the tractor on downhill. If it is necessary to stop the tractor, apply park-
ing brakes.
Apply parking brakes of the tractor while loading (unloading) the trailer or semi-
trailer.
While driving the tractor on public-access roads, activate the flashing beacon (if it is
installed).
While working on inclined surfaces increase the tractor wheels spacing up to maxi-
mum.
While working on surfaces with inclination above 20°, set maximum spacing for the
rear wheels.
Prior to exiting from the cab, deactivate the rear PTO shaft, stop the engine, apply
parking brake and remove the key from the starter switch.
Stop the tractor immediately in case of the engine or steering control malfunction.
Bear in mind that when the engine is stopped, it is necessary to apply much higher force to
the steering wheel to steer the tractor.
In case of malfunction immediately stop the tractor and remedy such malfunction.
Prevent leakages of electrolyte, cooling fluid, fuel and oil.
Correctly use summer and winter types of fuels. To prevent the moisture condensa-
tion overnight, fill the fuel tank at the end of each day. Use for the tractor only fuels, oils
and lubricants, which are recommended in this manual. Usage of other lubricants is strictly
prohibited.
It is prohibited to disconnect the electric equipment system using "earth" switch
while the tractor operates.
Operate the tractor at night-time only with activated and operable illuminating fix-
tures.
If your tractor is used incorrectly, it can be dangerous for you and third persons. Do
not use equipment, which is not intended for installation on the tractor.
Confirm correct installation of any additional equipment or auxiliary devices and
make sure they are intended for usage with your tractor.
To prevent rollover, observe following safety measures during the tractor operation:
- select safe speed, which corresponds to the road conditions, especially while mov-
ing over the rough terrain, while crossing ditches, slopes and during sharp turns.
- movement speed while turning shall be no higher than 5 km/h, on slippery road - 3
km/h.
- move downhill on the first or second gear.
Note - This safety measures list is not definitive. To prevent rollover, always be cau-
tious while working with the tractor.
It is prohibited to use the tractor for works, where the tractor might rollover.
