6.11 Possible Malfunctions of the Air Ventilation System, Cab Heating, Air-
conditioning System and Directions for their Remedy
The list of possible malfunctions of the air-conditioning system, ventilation, heating
of the cab and directions for their remedy are specified in Tables 6.11.1 and 6.11.2.

The cooling fluid does not circulate
through the heating unit:
- heater valve is closed.
- heater fan is not working.

The compressor electromagnetic coupling does not actuates (when the
temperature regulator is rotated, the characteristic metallic click is not heard)
Malfunction of electric equipment.
Cooling fluid is leaking.
The air-conditioner fan electric motor does not work
Malfunction of electric equipment.
Warm air is not supplied into the cab
Open the heater valve.
Remedy the fan malfunction, check the fan activa-
tion electric circuit according to the schematic cir-
cuit diagram in Appendix B
Use the tester or multimeter to check operability of
the pressure sensors unit. Sensors unit outputs (red
and pink wires) shall be continuous between them-
selves. Check operability of the electric circuits'
connections from the compressor coupling to the
air-conditioner control panel according to the sche-
matic circuit diagram.
Find the cooling fluid leakage location.
The leakage locations finding, hoses and air-
conditioner components replacement shall be per-
formed by trained personnel using special-purpose
equipment (warranty maintenance and repairs are
performed by Belvneshinvest CJSC, Minsk, tel./fax
8-017-262-40-75, 8-029-662-97-69, 8-029-628-67-
98).
Check operability of corresponding fuse, which is
located in the switching unit. Replace if it is faulty.
If the fuse is in good working order, then use the
test lamp to check for power supply presence on
the air-conditioner fan electric motor, when the
switch is activated and earthing is available on the
electric motor. If electric circuits are in good work-
ing order, but there is no power supply on the air-
conditioner fan electric motor, then replace the
switch.
