2.6 Instruments Cluster

The instruments cluster 13 (Figure 2.1.1) consists of the five indicators with five
warning lights as shown in Figure 2.6.1.
1 – tank reserve fuel level warning light; 2 – pneumatic system air pressure indicator; 3
– pneumatic system emergency air pressure warning light; 4 – tank fuel level indicator; 5 –
voltage indicator; 6 – additional accumulator battery charging indicator light (not used); 7 –
engine cooling fluid emergency temperature warning light; 8 – engine cooling fluid tempera-
ture indicator; 9 – engine lubrication system emergency oil pressure warning lamp; 10 – en-
gine lubrication system oil pressure indicator.
2.6.1 The pneumatic system air pressure indicator scale 2 (Figure 2.6.1) has three
areas:
- working – from 500 to 800 kPa (green);
- emergency (two) — from 0 to 500 kPa and from 800 to 1000 kPa (red).
The indicator scale has built-in warning light 3(red), which illuminates when the
pressure in the pneumatic system drops below 500 kPa.
2.6.2 The voltage indicator 5 (Figure 2.6.1) displays the accumulator battery voltage
when the engine is stopped, while the starter and instruments switch key (Figure 2.2.4)is in
position I. When the engine is working, the voltage indicator displays voltage in the vehicle
network, which is provided by the generator.
Condition of the power supply system in reference to the pointer position on the in-
dicator scale is shown in Table 2.6.1.
