ATTENTION: THE REAR WHEELS IN THE CONDITION AS DELIVERED FROM
THE WORKS ARE SET FOR THE WHEELS SPACING ACCORDING TO DIAGRAM 1
(FIGURE 3.2.5)!
To change the rear wheels spacing, proceed as follows:
- park the tractor on the level site, place wheel chokes under front and rear wheels,
clean half-axles from dirt;
- use jacks to lift corresponding half-axle tube;
- unscrew nuts 1 (Figure 3.2.4), which fasten wheels, then remove wheels;
- loosen the four bolts 2 of the rear wheels hubs by 3-5 revolutions;
- slide the hub into one or another direction to provide for required spacing;
- tighten four bolts 2 for hub fastening. Tighten bolts 2 uniformly and sequentially
while working in digit "eight" shape pattern. Final torque to tighten bolts 2 is from 300 to
400 N·m;
- install the wheel and tighten nuts 1 with torque from 300 to 350 N·m;
- repeat these actions for the opposite wheel.
Check tightening of the wheels fastening nuts and hubs fastening bolts after the first
hour of operation, then after the first eight - ten hours of operation and then every 125
hours of operation.
