2.2 Instruments Panel Switches

Switches of the instruments panel are shown in Figure 2.2.1.
1 – AB remote switch; 2 – steering column multifunction switch, left; 3 – starter and
instruments switch; 4 – emergency brake light switch; 5 – steering column multifunction
switch, right; 6 – main light switch; 7 – switch of the front work lights, which are installed on
the front lights brackets.

When the key (non-fixed position) for AB remote switching off is pressed 1 (Figure
2.2.1) AB will be switched on, and accumulator batteries will be switched off if this key is
pressed again.
It is possible to switch AB on and off using the manual switch AB 2 (Figure 2.2.2),
which is located in the area of the accumulator batteries installation. To switch AB on and
off, press the button 1.

Left steering column multifunction switch 2 (Figure 2.2.1) provides for activation of
turn indicators, headlights switching between high and low beam, warning (flashing) by
high beam, horn activation.
The turn indicators will be activated when the steering column switch 2 is moved
from the middle position in forward direction (а – right turn) or reverse direction (b – left
turn) according to Figure 2.2.3. When the tractor turning is completed, the lever automati-
cally returns to the initial position.
To activate the headlights, place the main light switch 6 (Figure 2.2.1) into position
III (as shown below) and move the lever of the steering column switch into position c –
"low beam" according to Figure 2.2.3. High beam will be activated if the switch lever is
pushed as far as it will go (position d). Positions of the low/high beams lever are fixed.
