- to provide for wheels spacing by interchanging wheels from one side to another with-
out changing the disk position in relation to the rim, remove wheels and interchange them
from one side to another;
- provide for wheels spacing by changing the disk position in relation to the rim on
wheels removed from the tractor, unscrew the nuts for the wheel rim fastening to the disk
and according to the required wheels spacing provide corresponding mutual arrangement
of the rim and disk as shown in diagram in Table 3.2.4. Torque for tightening the disks nuts
to the rims brackets is from 180 to 240 N·m;
- install the wheel and tighten nuts 1 with torque from 300 to 350 N·m;
- while installing the wheels make sure that the wheels rotation direction conforms
to the arrow direction on the tyre wall.
Repeat these actions for the opposite wheel.
1 – nuts for the wheel fastening to the hub; 2 – bolts for the hub fastening to the
half-axle.

Check tightening of the wheels fastening nuts, hubs fastening bolts and nuts for the
disks fastening to the rims brackets after the first hour of operation, then after the first eight
- ten hours of operation and then every 125 hours of operation.
If tyres 14.9R30 are installed, change the rear wheels spacing by moving the hub
with wheel on the half-axle and by interchanging the wheels from one side to another as
shown in Figure 3.2.5.
