4.3.3.3 Telescopic drawbars
Telescopic drawbars are intended for limiting the lateral sway of the mounted device
lower links in transportation and working positions. Theyprovide for locking of the lower
links (of the implement) or swaying within ± 55 mm.
a) Drawbar is locked
1 – screw; 2 – slider; 3 – outer pipe; 4 – cotter pin; 5 – outer pipe opening; 6 –
handle.
During the tractor operation, the drawbars shall be always installed into one of the
two positions:
- drawbar is locked;
- drawbar is unlocked.
Adjust position "drawbar is locked" according to following sequence:
- align the opening 5 (Figure 4.3.4) of the outer pipe 3 for cotter pin 4 with the open-
ing in the slider 2;
- if openings are not aligned, rotate the screw 1 using the handle 6 clockwise or
counter-clockwise until holes become aligned;
- lock the handle 6 on the slider flats 2;
- place the cotter pin 4 into opening and fasten by the spring clamp.
Adjust position "drawbar is unlocked" according to following sequence:
- remove the cotter pin 4 from the drawbar;
- install the cross-bar of the symmetrical lengthwise axis of the tractor;
- rotate the slider 2by ≈90 and align the groove on the outer tube 3 with opening in
the slider 2;
- rotate the screw 1 by handle 6 and place the opening in slider 2 in centre of the
groove of the outer pipe 3 (adjust left and right drawbars);
- lock the handle 6 on the slider flats 2;
- place the cotter pin 4 into opening and fasten by the clamp.
ATTENTION: DURING TRANSPORTATION OPERATIONS USE THE "DRAWBAR
IS LOCKED" SETTING!
ATTENTION: WHILE USING THE TRACTOR FOR AGRICULTURAL WORKS
WITH CONNECTED IMPLEMENT OR AGRICULTURAL MACHINE IT IS NECESSARY
TO USE "DRAWBAR IS LOCKED" OR "DRAWBAR IS UNLOCKED" SETTING ACCORD-
ING TO DIRECTIONS IN THE OPERATION MANUAL OF THE CONNECTED IMPLE-
MENT (AGRICULTURAL MACHINE)!
IT IS PROHIBITED TO USE THE DRAWBAR WITH SLIDER NOT FIXED BY THE
COTTER PIN IN THE OUTER PIPE!
