3.2.1 Entering the Tractor

Enter the tractor through the cab left door. The footboard is installed for entering
convenience.

3.2.2 Engine Preparation and Starting

To start the engine, proceed as follows:
- apply the tractor parking brake;
- if necessary, fill the fuel feed system by fuel and pump it to remove air from it;
- place the fuel feed control handle into position, which corresponds to minimum fuel
feed to the engine. Make sure, that the fuel feed electronic control pedal is in initial position
and physical force is not applied to it. DO not press the fuel feed control pedal during the
engine starting process;
- place the FDA drive control handle into position "FDA is OFF":
- place the rear PTO shaft switching handle from independent or synchronous drive
into position "Neutral" and move the rear PTO shaft control handle into position "OFF";
- the hydraulic mounted system distributor control handles shall be in position "Neu-
tral";
- press the clutch pedal, place the gear and ranges switching lever into position for I
or II range activation, then release the clutch pedal;
- activate the AB switch;
- rotate the starter and instruments switch key from position 0 into position I. Follow-
ing operations will be performed under these conditions:
1) In the MFD both indicators of the rear PTO shaft scale range and all segments of
the rear PTO shaft scale will light up for no more than one second. Pointers of the engine
speed and RPM indicators will move from initial marks (or they will "dance" for no more
than one second on the zero marks of indicators) – this confirms serviceability of LEDs
and pointer indicators.
2) The engine control system panel performs self-diagnosis. If there are no errors in
the system operation, the malfunctions diagnosis indicator on the engine control system
panel shall light up and go off. This is confirmation of the indicator lamp operability and its
correct connection to the vehicle network. If errors are discovered, the malfunctions diag-
nosis indicator will display malfunction code. Discovered errors shall be remedied prior to
the engine starting.
3) The data display monitor will display manufacturer's start-up screen for a few se-
conds – this confirms operability of the monitor. Then, if there are no EECS operation mal-
functions, the data display monitor will operate in the working mode - will display actual
changed parameters of the engine operation. If errors are discovered, the data display
monitor will sound alarm and short description of discovered errors will appear on the
screen. Discovered errors shall be remedied prior to the engine starting. If the AdBlue rea-
gent level has fallen below 28% of the SCR fluid tank filling volume, the monitor will show
corresponding blinking sign. Top up the SCR fluid tank with AdBlue reagent prior to the
engine starting.
