2.8 Multifunction Display and MF Control Panel
2.8.1 General
The multifunction display 15 (Figure 2.1.1)(hereinafter referred to as MFD) and the multi-
function display programming panel 19 (Figure 2.1.1) (hereinafter referred to as CP) display in-
formation concerning the tractor systems and units operational parameters and provide an oper-
ator with data on any system malfunction or failure.
The MFD consists of indicators and indicator lights according to Figure 2.8.1:
1 – speed indicator (pointer indicator); 2 – engine RPM indicator (pointer indicator);
3 – RPTO shaft RPM indicator (indicator light); 4, 9 – RPTO shaft RPM scale segments
(yellow); 5, 7, 8 – RPTO shaft RPM scale segments (green); 6 – RPTO shaft 540 RPM
scale range indicator (yellow); 10 – RPTO shaft 1000 RPM scale range indicator (yellow);
11 – indicator light of the high beam light activation (blue); 12 – indicator light of the trailer
turn light activation (green); 13 – indicator light of the tractor turn light activation (green); 14
– indicator light of the parking brake activation (red); 15 – indicator light of the vehicle network
voltage increase (red); 16 – indicator light (not used); 17 – multifunction indicator.
The light intensity of the MFI and the PTO shaft indicator segments will automatically
decrease when the instruments scales illumination is activated, i.e. when the main light switch
is moved into position II (Instruments panel illumination and marker lights are ON) and position
III (All consumers for position II are ON and additionally headlights).
The MFD control panel (MFDCP) is shown in Figure 2.8.2.
