4.4 Tow Hitches

4.4.1 General

The tow hitches of the BELARUS-921.6 tractor might be completed with the hitching
elements TSU-ZV (long tow fork), TSU-1Zh-01 (double cross-bar), which provide for hitching
and transportation of the mounted and semi-mounted machines with connecting devices ac-
cording to following requirements:
- compatibility of connecting dimensions;
- machines are equipped with rigid tow-bars;
- trailer tow bars are equipped with the device, which simplifies coupling-decoupling
with the tractor tow hitches;
- the semi-trailer's coupling devices are equipped with adjustable support.
The BELARUS-921.6 tractor is equipped with the rear special mounting device of lift-
ing type in form of vertical guiding plates with openings, which is fastened to the rear mat-
ing surface of the rear axle housing. This device is intended for fastening the tow hitches
and allows to adjust position of the TSU-ZV (long tow fork) along height.

4.4.1.
Diagram of the TSU-1Zh-01 (double cross-beam) installation versions are shown in
Figure 4.4.2.
Main parameters of the tow hitches, which are specified in tables and in figures of sub-
section 4.4 "Tow hitches" are indicated for the tractor with rear tyres 420/70R24 installed with
standard static radius indicated by the tyres manufacturer.
