3 Proper Usage of the Tractor

3.1 Safety Measures While Preparing the Tractor for Operation

Strict observance of safety requirements will provide for the tractor safe operation
will increase its reliability and longevity.
Persons no younger than 17 years are allowed to operate the tractor (age can vary
depending on your country legislation), who received the driver's licence for operation of
the tractor of drawbar category 1.4 and who received training for occupational safety and
fire safety.
Carefully study this manual prior to the tractor operation. Insufficient knowledge of
the tractor control and operation methods can lead to accidents.
While the tractor and additional equipment depreservation, observe fire safety and
hygiene measures while handling chemical reagents, used rags and oiled paper.
Prior to the tractor operation remove special nuts of the rear wheels hubs (one nut
in each hub), which are used for the tractor fastening on the transportation vehicle plat-
form, and replace them by nuts from the hubs main set, which are included into SPTA set.
Tighten nuts with torque from 300 to 350 N·m. Replace special nuts of the front wheels
(one nut in each wheel), which are used for the tractor fastening on the transportation ve-
hicle platform, and replace them by wheel fastening nuts from the main set. Tighten nuts
with torque from 200 to 250 N·m.
The tractor running in shall be performed according to requirements in subsection
3.4 "The tractor final assembly and running in".
The tractor shall be furnished with all component parts and in sound technical con-
dition.
Do not allow dismounting the protective casings or guards, which are required by
the tractor design, and do not remove other parts and component parts, which provide for
its safe operation (fan protective grill, rear PTO shaft casing etc.).
Technical condition of the brake system, steering control, illumination fixtures and
alarms, undercarriage shall correspond to the safety requirements, applicable standards
and this manual.
The hitched agricultural machines shall be equipped with rigid tow-bars, which pre-
vent their rocking and running into the tractor while transporting them.
The tractor controls shall be reliably fixed in operating positions.
Keep all warning plates clean. If plates are damaged or lost, replace them by new
ones.
It is forbidden to operate the tractor without AB in the electric equipment system.
The first aid kit shall be completed according to the laws and regulations in force on
the country territory, where the tractor will operate.
