4.3.3.4 Stabilizer
The lower links stabilizer is installed instead of the crossbar and provides for stand-
ard dimension between grippers and for locking of the lower links (of the implement) or the
RMD rocking within ± 55 mm.
To lock the RMD, screw bolts 6 (Figure 4.3.5) installed in ears 4, 5 of brackets 1, 2 as
far as they will go into the lower links. To provide for rocking unscrew bolts 6 from ears. In both
cases, bolts 6 shall be locked by lock nuts 7.
1 – right bracket; 2 – left bracket; 3 – pipe; 4 – right bracket ear; 5 – left bracket ear;
6 – adjusting bolt; 7 – lock nut.
4.3.3.5 Suspension axis
The suspension axis length adjustment mechanism isintended for operation with ma-
chines and implements, which have the suspension axis length within range 600-870 mm.
To adjust the suspension axis length, proceed as follows:
- install the cotter pins 4 (Figure 4.3.4) of drawbars into grooves ("drawbar is un-
locked") to mount the RMD with crossbar orunscrew bolts 6 (Figure 4.3.5) from ears to
mount the RMD with stabilizer;
- use the pivot 10 to fasten the eye ring 8 (Figures 4.3.6) on the plate 12;
- fasten the pivot by the cotter pin with ring;
- put the bushing 4 into the eye ring lug 8;
- place the screw 7 into eye ring 8 and bushing 4. Left thread of screw shall be on
the left side and machined ends of the plate shall be rotated into the tractor direc-
tion;
- knock the pin 9 into openings of the bushing 4 and screw 7 until they are flash with
the bushing 4 surface;
- screw lock nuts 3 onto both threaded ends of screw;
- mount the tips 1 and 6 withgrippers onto the plate 12, symmetrically bring to
threaded ends of the screw 7 and screw the screw into ears 2 and 5 of tips (by hand
or using wrench (S=46), while rotating the bushing 4);
- when required dimension of the suspension axis is provided, lock the tips 1 and 6
using lock nuts 3;
