The handle 1 (Figure 2.20.1) is used for controlling the HMS distributor left side out-
puts. The handle 2 is used for controlling the HMS distributor right side and right rear out-
puts. The handle 3 is used for controlling the rear outputs, which are located on the HMS
distributor housing.
Each of the distributor's three handles 1, 2, 3 has four positions:
- "Floating" – forward most fixed position;
- "Forced lowering" – forward middle not fixed position between positions "Floating"
and "Neutral". When the handle is in position "Forced lowering" and the engine is running, it
is necessary to hold the handle by hand, since the handle will automatically return into posi-
tion "Neutral" after releasing.
- "Neutral" – rear middle fixed position;
- "Lifting" – rearmost position. Not fixed position for the handles 1 and 3, and fixed
position for the handle 2. The handle 2 has automatic fixation without automatic return into
position "Neutral". Therefore, while working with the handle 2 is in position "Lifting" for the
spool control of the right side and rear redundant outputs, do not forget to place the control
handle of this spool into position "Neutral" in order to prevent the hydraulic system over-
heating, the pump and other units of the hydraulic mounted system premature failure.
When the handles 1 and 3 are in position "Lifting", it is necessary to hold the handle by
hand, since the handle will automatically return into position "Neutral" after releasing.
The diagram of the distributor outputs location and connection to the external con-
sumers on the BELARUS-921.6 tractor is shown in Figure 2.20.2.

2.21 Controlling the Front Mounted Device

The BELARUS-921.6 tractor can be optionally equipped with the front mounted de-
vice. Front mounted device will be installed only if the tractor is equipped with the front
tyres 12.4L-16 and rear tyres 14.9R30.
The front mounted device is controlled by the handle 1 (Figure 2.20.1). The distribu-
tor outputs control rules are stated in subsection 2.20 "Controlling the HMS Distributor Sec-
tions (Remote Cylinders)".
Note – HPH for the FMD controlling are connected to the left side outputs of the
HMS distributor.
