a. (Extractabrite Ion Sources) With your hand around the stainless steel barrel, twist
the tool until the alignment groove at the end of the barrel aligns with the left screw
around the slot vacated by the vacuum interlock knob.

b. (Extractabrite Ion Sources) Twist and push the stainless steel barrel to the right until
it clicks into place under the screw at the top of the slot.
