Investigating RF/DC Issues

RF dip is incorrect.

Make sure the RF board is properly connected and use Xcalibur Power Status to ensure the readback reports +48 V DC is present. If +48 V
DC is not present, contact Technical Support.

RF/DC System Check diagnostic fails.

Use TSQ 9610 Tune to tune the RF system. If the RF system will not tune, contact Technical Support.
Make sure the rod driver board is properly installed and undamaged. Replace it, if necessary. See
Rear Rod Driver Boards
for details.

When you run RF/DC System Check diagnostics on the TSQ 9610 system, the Xcalibur
software checks the RF/DC system of the instrument. Your instrument or software may
indicate the following types of issues.
WARNING
issue that requires removing a cover on the TSQ 9610 mass spectrometer,
you should power-off and vent the instrument to avoid harming yourself.
