Configuration of IP Telephony nodes
using Element Manager

Contents

This section contains the following topics:

Introduction

This chapter explains how to configure IP Telephony nodes and Voice
Gateway Media Cards using Element Manager. Element Manager is
accessed using a PC with Internet Explorer 6.0.2600 (or later). The PC
must be connected to a LAN that has access to the Signaling Server Node
IP address, either directly or routed through the network.
The ELAN subnet IP address might be required, instead of the Node
IP address, to access the Element Manager logon window in secure
environments.
This chapter also provides instruction for transmitting files to Voice Gateway
Media Cards, upgrading card software, and upgrading IP Phone firmware.
