Introduction

Media Card 32-port trunk card and ITG-P 24-port trunk cards that are no
longer being used as Trunk cards can be converted to Voice Gateway Media
Cards running the IP Line application.
Nortel recommends using the TM 3.1 ITG ISDN trunk service (used to manage
the trunk node) to download the IP Line application loadware to the existing
trunk cards.
Post-conversion
After the trunk cards have been converted to run the IP Line application,
perform the following actions:

ITG Trunk 2.x nodes that contain Media Cards must be upgraded to IP
Trunk 3.0x and rebooted. This is necessary to enable TM 3.1 to transmit the
