9.4 Device installation

Follow the instructions in this chapter in the order they are presented. If the device is
installed without a cephalometric unit, skip the chapter
on page 103.

9.4.1 Column installation

CAUTION! The column will be fixed to the wall using a wall mount supplied with
the device. There are two different wall mount designs, one for PAN/3D devices
and one for CEPH devices. The used wall mount must be selected according to the
device configuration. Pay attention to the device configuration when selecting the
correct wall mount.
NOTICE! A full scale installation template is supplied with the device to help
selecting the optimal installation position and angle to which the device can be
installed in the selected room.
1. Transport the device package to the installation location.
2. Remove the packing straps.
3. Remove the package lid and sides.
4. Move the boxes with accessories and device covers aside.
5. Open the lowest box in the main device package to find the device column.
