9 Installation
5. The calibration image appears on the GUI.
NOTICE! If the calibration program fails and the GUI informs you to adjust
the height or tilt of the 2D sensor, adjust the sensor according to chapters

6. Acknowledge the calibration result by pressing the OK button.
7. Repeat the PAN Pixel Calibration (2D sensor) if the GUI requests it.
NOTICE! Repeat the Device Geometry Calibration if any mechanical
adjustment was required.

9.6.12 PAN geometry calibration

This program creates the calibration data for reconstructing PAN images.
NOTICE! This calibration produces X-rays. Protect yourself from radiation.
Geometry Calibration Phantom is required when performing these calibrations.
1. Attach the Geometry Calibration Phantom to the device.
2. Select PAN geometry calibration from the Calibrations menu.
3. All PAN patient positioning lights come on. Check that the lights hit the grooves on
the phantom to ensure that the positioning lights are correctly aligned. If the lights
do not hit the grooves, they need to be re-aligned. See chapter
light adjustment
4. Protect yourself from radiation.
5. Press and hold the exposure button down to take the calibration image.
