21. Mark the installation screw locations to the floor using the column floor plate as a
template.
A. BASIC INSTALLATION
Mark all 4 floor screw locations to the floor through the corner holes. Use this
installation option only when you are certain on the installation angle of the device
and that you don't need to rotate the device during the installation.
B. PIVOT SCREW INSTALLATION
Attaching the column to the floor only with the pivot screw allows the unit to be
rotated after the carriage and the cephalometric unit have been installed to ensure
the correct alignment of the device. Use this installation option when you want to
adjust the installation angle during the device installation.
NOTICE! This is installation method is recommended when installing a CEPH
device.
a) Detach the column pivoting screw cover on the column floor plate.
b) Mark the location of the column pivoting screw hole to the floor.
22. Lift the column aside and drill appropriate holes for the used fixing hardware for the
2 wall bracket installation screws and the hole/holes for the column floor plate.
NOTICE! Before drilling any holes to the floor, ensure that there are no floor
heating elements, that could get damaged.
NOTICE! Before drilling any holes to the wall, ensure that there are no
electrical wiring or water pipes inside the wall that could get damaged.
NOTICE! The pivoting screw hole must fit at least an M8 size screw.
