4. Check that the leakage current levels are not exceeded if local authorities require it.
a) Measure the leakage current according to the following diagrams
Permanent installation:
b) Check that the measured leakage current values are less than 500uA.
5. Check the functionality of the power switch.
6. Check that the patient positioning lights work properly and are aligned correctly. The
positioning lights can be checked using the Device geometry calibration, PAN
geometry calibration and CEPH head support calibration programs.
7. Check that the device has been configured correctly for the installation location. See
chapter
8. Re-run the Collimator calibration with all device covers installed. See chapter
Collimator calibration
9. Check that all device calibrations are performed and passed according to chapter
Complete device calibration
10. Check that the exposure warning indicators work correctly.
11. Check the functionality of the Emergency Stop button.
NOTICE! Activating the Emergency Stop causes the device to restart.
12. Check the Z-movement limits.
13. Check that the device moves properly to HOME and CEPH HOME positions.
14. Check that the CEPH head support, ear rords and nasion support move properly.
15. Check that the head support locking lever works properly.
16. Check that all supplied patient positioning accessories and calibration tools are
present and intact.
17. Gather the extra screws, left over from the installation, for storage.
