7. Press the HOME button on the patient positioning panel to drive the device to CEPH
HOME position.
8. The cephalometric FH light comes on. Check that the light goes through both of the
round alignment markings in the middle of the 2D sensor cover.
9. Re-align the light if it still not aligned correctly.
10. Re-install the detached covers.

9.11.7 Ear rod adjustment

If the CEPH Mechanical Calibration has failed due to the poor alignment of the ear rods,
adjustment is required.
9.11.7.1 Ear rod assembly rotation adjustment
1. Move the nasion support and ear rods to their outmost position.
2. Remove the head support mount top cover screws (2 pcs) and detach the cover.
3. Hold the ear rod assembly in place and loosen the ear rod assembly rotation locking
screw.
4. Rotate the ear rod assembly by hand according to the instructions given on the GUI
during the CEPH position calibration.
5. Re-tighten the locking screw.
