Refer to "Torque Reaction Against Timing
Drive Chain Notice".
1. Use an open wrench on the hex cast into the
camshaft in order to prevent engine rotation when
loosening the camshaft position actuator bolt.
2. Remove the right intake camshaft position actuator
bolt.
3. Remove the right intake camshaft position actuator.

EN 46105 Camshaft Locking Tool
1. Remove the EN 46105-2 from the left camshafts.
2. Position the camshaft lobes in a neutral position.
3. Observe the markings on the bearing caps. Each
bearing cap is marked in order to identify its location.
The markings have the following meanings:
– The raised feature must always be oriented
toward the center of the cylinder head.
– The I indicates the intake camshaft.
– The E indicates the exhaust camshaft.
– The number indicates the journal position from the
front of the engine.
