Mass Airflow Sensor/Intake Air Temperature
Sensor Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to "Air
Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement: ".
2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical
connector from the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air
temperature (IAT) sensor.
3. Remove the MAF/IAT sensor screws.
4. Remove the MAF/IAT sensor from the air cleaner
assembly.
5. Remove the MAF/IAT sensor seal.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the MAF/IAT sensor seal to the MAF/IAT
sensor.
2. Install the MAF/IAT sensor to the air cleaner
assembly.
CAUTION
!
Refer to "Fastener Notice: ".
3. Install the MAF/IAT sensor screws.
Tightening torque
Tighten the screws to 4 N⋅m (35 lb in).
4. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical
connector to the MAF/IAT sensor.
5. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to "Air
Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement: ".
