1B-6 Aux. Emission Control Devices:
4. Connect the EVAP pipe quick connect fitting (1) to
the EVAP purge solenoid. Refer to "Plastic Collar
Quick Connect Fitting Service: ".
5. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical
connector (4) to the EVAP purge solenoid.
6. Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to "Fuel
Injector Sight Shield Replacement: ".

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister.
Refer to "Evaporative Emission Canister
Replacement".
2. Rotate the EVAP canister vent valve
counterclockwise to release from the locked position.
3. Remove the vent valve from the EVAP canister.
