Drive Belt Idler Pulley Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the drive belt. Refer to "Drive Belt
Replacement".
2. Completely loosen the idler pulley bolt.
3. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to
"Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and
Connection: ".
4. Disconnect the generator electrical connector (1).
5. Reposition the battery cable boot then disconnect
the battery cable from the generator.
6. Remove the generator bolts and position generator
aside.
7. Remove the drive belt idler pulley.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the drive belt idler pulley.
2. Position generator in place then install the generator
bolts.
