DIAGNOSTICS CHART WITH SELECT MONITOR

CHECK GROUND SHORT OF SENSOR
AND HARNESS.
1) Turn ignition switch OFF.
2) Disconnect connector from VDCCM.
3) Measure resistance between VDCCM con-
nector and chassis ground.
Connector & terminal
(F87) No. 63 — Chassis ground (Lat-
eral G sensor):
(F87) No. 78 — Chassis ground (Pres-
sure sensor):

CHECK GROUND SHORT OF HARNESS.
1) Disconnect connector from faulty sensors.
2) Measure resistance between VDCCM and
chassis ground.
Connector & terminal
(F87) No. 63 — Chassis ground (Lat-
eral G sensor):
(F87) No. 78 — Chassis ground (Pres-
sure sensor):

CHECK BATTERY SHORT OF SENSOR
AND HARNESS.
Measure voltage between VDCCM and chas-
sis ground.
Connector & terminal
(F87) No. 63 (+) — Chassis ground (−)
(Lateral G sensor):
(F87) No. 78 (+) — Chassis ground (−)
(Pressure sensor):

CHECK BATTERY SHORT OF SENSOR
AND HARNESS.
1) Turn ignition switch to ON.
2) Measure voltage between VDCCM connec-
tor and chassis ground.

(F87) No. 63 (+) — Chassis ground (−)
(Lateral G sensor):
(F87) No. 78 (+) — Chassis ground (−)
(Pressure sensor):

CHECK BATTERY SHORT OF HARNESS.
1) Turn ignition switch to OFF.
2) Disconnect connector from faulty sensors.
3) Measure voltage between VDCCM and
chassis ground.
