DIAGNOSTICS CHART WITH SELECT MONITOR
VDC (Diagnostics)

9 CHECK ECM.
1) Turn ignition switch to ON.
2) Measure voltage between ECM connector
terminal and chassis ground.

H6 ENGINE MODEL
(B134) No. 11 (+) — Chassis ground

10 CHECK POOR CONTACT IN CONNEC-
TORS.
11 CHECK ENGINE.
Step
Is the voltage between 10
and 15 V?
Is there poor contact in
connector ECM?
Is the engine functioning
normally?
VDC-180
Check Yes
Repair harness/
connector
between ECM
and VDCCM.
Repair connector.
Replace ECM. H4
