Scarico circuito impianto
frenante
Attenzione
Il liquido impiegato nell'impianto
frenante, oltre a danneggiare la
vernice, è dannosissimo a contatto
degli occhi o della pelle; lavare quindi
abbondantemente con acqua corrente
la parte interessata in caso di
accidentale contatto.
Togliere il coperchio (1) con membrana
dal serbatoio liquido freno anteriore (A)
e il tappo (3) dal serbatoio freno

posteriore (B).
Rimuovere la ruota posteriore
(Sez. G 4).
Rimuovere la pinza dalla pistra di
supporto e sollevarla più in alto
possibile.
Inserire tra le pastiglie una piastra
avente lo stesso spessore del disco
freno posteriore.

Collegare alla valvola di spurgo (3)
della pinza anteriore o alla valvola di
spurgo (4) della pinza posteriore uno
spurgatore per freni, comunemente
reperibile in commercio.
Note
Quando si usa un attrezzo per
lo spurgo del freno reperibile in
commercio, seguire le istruzioni
d'uso del fabbricante.
Allentare la valvola di spurgo e
pompare con lo spurgatore fino a
quando non esce più fluido
dall'impianto.
In caso di indisponibilità dello
spurgatore, collegare alla valvola di
spurgo (2) della pinza anteriore o alla
valvola di spurgo (4) della pinza
posteriore, un tubicino in plastica
trasparente e immergerne l'estremità
in un contenitore appoggiato sul
pavimento e contenente liquido freni
usurato.

Svitare di 1/4 di giro la valvola di
spurgo.
Azionare la leva o il pedale comando
freno fino alla totale fuoriuscita del
liquido.
Eseguire l'operazione per ogni pinza
freno.
Draining the braking
circuit
Warning
Brake fluid will damage painted
surfaces if spilled on them. It is also
very harmful if it comes into contact
with the skin or with the eyes; in the
event of accidental contact, wash the
affected area with abundant running
water.
Remove the cover (1) and membrane
from the front brake fluid reservoir (A)
and the plug (3) from the rear brake
fluid reservoir (B).
Remove the rear wheel (Sect. G 4).
Remove the calliper from the
mounting bracket and lift it as high
as possible.
Insert a plate of the same thickness
as the brake disc between the brake
pads.
Connect a commercial brake bleeding
tool to the front brake calliper bleed
valve (3) or the rear brake calliper
bleed valve (4).
Notes
Follow the manufacturer's
instructions when using a commercial
brake bleeding tool.
Loosen off the bleed valve and pump
with the bleeding tool until no more
fluid emerges.
If you do not have a brake bleeder
available, attach a length of
transparent plastic tubing to the front
calliper bleed valve (2) or the rear
calliper bleed valve (4) and immerse
the other end of the tubing in a
container on the floor containing old
brake fluid.
Unscrew the bleed valve by a 1/4 turn.
Operate the brake lever (or pedal)
until all the fluid has drained out of the
circuit.
Repeat this operation for each brake
calliper.
