Note
Le teste nude sono uguali.
Solo la definizione del lato aspirazione
e scarico configura la testa per il
montaggio sul cilindro verticale o
orizzontale.
Tutte le figure di questo capitolo si

riferiscono ad una testa verticale.
Nel testo, la testa viene identificata,
in senso longitudinale, dal lato
aspirazione o scarico e, in senso
trasversale, dal lato distribuzione o
opposto distribuzione (lato raccordi
acqua).
Anelli di tenuta guidavalvola
Posizionare la testa nuda
sull'apposito supporto 88713.2103.
In caso di montaggio di una testa
nuova, verificare che in corrispondenza

del pozzetto candela sia montato il
supporto (27) di ritegno interno dei
perni bilancieri di chiusura.
Lubrificare con olio motore gli anelli di
tenuta (8) dei guidavalvola e inserirli
27
dal lato provvisto di molla sull'attrezzo
88713.1429.

Inserire l'estremità dell'attrezzo nel
guidavalvola e con martello portare in
posizione gli anelli di tenuta (8) sui
guidavalvola.

Reassembly of the
cylinder head
Notes
The two cylinder heads are
identical. Only their definition as
intake and exhaust side configures
them for installation on the vertical or
horizontal cylinder.
All the photos in this chapter refer to
a vertical cylinder head.
In the text, the cylinder head is
identified along the longitudinal axis
by its intake and exhaust sides and,
along the transverse axis, by its
timing and opposite side to timing
(water fitting side).
Valve guide seals
Position the cylinder head on the
service stand 88713.2103.
If fitting a new cylinder head, check
that the internal support (27) for the
closing rocker arm shafts is mounted
at the spark plug seat.
Use engine oil to lubricate the valve
guide seals (8) and insert them from
the spring side onto tool 88713.1429.
Fit the end of the tool into the valve
guide and use a mallet to tap the
seals (8) home into the guides.
