Inserire nel perno di sterzo (D) la
B rosetta (8) l'anello di tenuta (7) (con il
bordino rivolto verso l'alto) e l'anello
A
interno (A) del cuscinetto inferiore (6),
dopo averlo scaldato per circa
10 minuti ad una temperatura di
120 °C.
Inserire nel perno di sterzo il tampone
cod. 88713.1072. Premere l'anello

interno (A) sull'anello di tenuta (7),
esercitando, manualmente, una certa
pressione per almeno 10-15 secondi.
Lubrificare con grasso prescritto
l'anello interno (A).
Inserire nel perno di sterzo (D) la
corona di sfere (B) con il lato di
diametro inferiore della gabbia, rivolto
verso l'alto e ingrassarla.
Inserire il perno di sterzo, all'interno
del cannotto portandolo assialmente
in appoggio.

Install the washer (8), the oil seal (7)
(with lip uppermost) and the inner
race (A) of the lower bearing (6) on
the steering stem (D), after having
heated it for around 10 minutes to a
temperature of 120 °C.
Fit drift part no. 88713.1072 into
steering stem. Keep the inner ring (A)
pressed onto oil seal (7) manually for
at least 10-15 seconds.
Lubricate inner bearing ring (A) with
the recommended grease.
Fit the ball race (B) to the steering
stem (D) with the smaller diameter of
the cage facing upwards and grease
the ball race.
Insert the steering stem in steering
head and push it until it becomes
axially seated.
