Ricomposizione gruppo volano/
alternatore

Rimontare la ruota libera (22) sulla
flangia (14) disponendola con il
diametro maggiore (+) in appoggio
sulla flangia. Quest'ultima deve avere
il lato smussato rivolto verso la ruota
libera.
Quando si rimonta la ruota libera fare
attenzione alla freccia stampigliata

sull'anello esterno che indica il senso
di rotazione del motore.
Per controllare se la ruota libera è
montata correttamente, procedere nel
modo seguente, tenendo conto che
quando ruota l'albero motore, ruota
contemporaneamente anche il volano,
essendo vincolati dalla calettatura
presente sui due componenti.
Ruotando in senso antiorario l'albero
motore, e di conseguenza anche il
volano, il motorino di avviamento e
l'ingranaggio ozioso sono fermi
(come in funzionamento); ruotando in
senso orario l'albero motore, ruotano
anche il volano, l'ingranaggio ozioso e
il motorino di avviamento.
Importante
Nel rimontaggio della ruota
libera utilizzare solo olio motore e non
grasso che potrebbe pregiudicare il
buon funzionamento di questo

componente.
Rimontare la flangia (14) sul
volano (17) disponendola con la
conicità rivolta verso il volano.
Durante il rimontaggio della flangia
sul volano utilizzare un perno o una
chiave, inserito nel foro del perno
di riferimento (15) volano rotore,
in modo da allineare i fori nel volano

con le filettature sulla flangia.
Questo accorgimento può risultare
utile in quanto, essendo la flangia
montata con interferenza, non è
possibile allineare i fori dopo averla
montata nel volano.
Posizionare sul volano il perno
di riferimento (15) con anello di
fermo (16).
Applicare frenafiletti sulle filettature
delle viti (26) e fissare il rotore (24),
la flangia (14) e la ruota libera (22) al
volano (17).
Bloccare le viti alla coppia prescritta
(Sez. C 3).
Reassembly of the flywheel/
alternator assembly
When refitting the starter clutch (22)
on the flange (14), position it with the
side with the largest diameter (+)
resting against the flange.
The chamfered side of the flange
should be facing the starter clutch.
When refitting the starter clutch,
note the arrow etched on outer ring
indicating the direction of rotation of
the engine.
To check that the starter clutch is
in the correct position, proceed as
follows, taking into account that
flywheel rotates together with
crankshaft as it is splined on the
shaft.
If you turn the crankshaft (and thus
also the flywheel) counterclockwise,
the starter motor and the idle gear will
not move (as when the engine is
running), while if you turn the
crankshaft clockwise, the flywheel,
the starter motor, and the idle gear
will also turn.
Important
When refitting the parts of
the starter clutch, use engine oil only.
Do not use grease as this could affect
starter clutch operation.
When refitting the flange (14) to the
flywheel (17), position it with the
tapered side facing the flywheel.
When refitting the flange to flywheel,
insert a pin or a wrench inside the
hole for the rotor flywheel locating
dowel (15) in order to line up flywheel
holes with flange. This is a useful tip,
as the holes cannot be aligned
after having fitted the flange to the
flywheel due to the interference fit.
Position the locating dowel (15) with
the retaining ring (16) on the flywheel.
Apply threadlocker to the screws (26)
and fix the rotor (24), the flange (14)
and the starter clutch (22) to the
flywheel (17).
Tighten the screws to the specified
torque (Sect. C 3).
