Prima di montare la testa verificare
che sulla superficie di contatto tra
testa e cilindro sia presente la
guarnizione (Sez. N 5).
Note
Il rimontaggio della guarnizione
il lato (E) con il codice stampigliato
deve essere montato a contatto con
la testa.
Infilare la testa nei prigionieri facendo
attenzione a non rovinarne la parte

filettata.
Posizionare sui prigionieri
le guarnizioni OR (28), le rosette
speciali (30) e i dadi poligonali (29).

Note
Lubrificare le guarnizioni (28) e
nel caso siano danneggiate,
sostituirle e lubrificarle.
Avvitare i dadi (29) sui prigionieri
seguendo l'ordine 1-3-2-4 utilizzando
29
l'attrezzo cod. 88713.2676 abbinato
ad una chiave dinamometrica.
Serrare i dadi alla coppia prescritta

Fitting the cylinder head
assemblies
Before fitting the head, check that
gasket is installed on the mating
surface between head and cylinder
(Sect. N 5).
Notes
When fitting the gasket, side (E)
with the stamped code must be in
contact with the cylinder head.
Install the cylinder head over the
studs. Take care not to damage the
threads.
Fit O-rings (28), special washers (30)
and nuts (29) onto the studs.
Notes
Lubricate the o-rings (28);
renew them if damaged.
Tighten the nuts (29) on the studs in
the sequence 1-3-2-4 using service
tool 88713.2676 in conjunction with a
torque wrench.
Tighten the nuts to the specified
torque (Sect. C 3).

Reinstall the engine
lubrication system

cooling system

Refit the timing belts
and covers
