Montaggio coperchio
alternatore
Prima del montaggio assicurarsi che
sul coperchio alternatore (29) siano
installati:
il cuscinetto (27) di estremità
31
dell'albero motore con relativo anello
seeger;
lo statore (33) dell'alternatore con
staffa (31) di bloccaggio uscita cavo e
il sensore motore (8).
Installare il gruppo pompa acqua
come descritto alla Sezione N 3.3
Pulire da eventuali incrostazioni e
sgrassare le superfici di
accoppiamento del semicarter
sinistro e del coperchio alternatore.
Montare le due boccole di
riferimento (30).

Applicare un cordone continuo e
uniforme di pasta sigillante DUCATI
sulla superficie del coperchio,
contornando i fori delle viti e delle
boccole di centraggio.
Lubrificare con grasso l'estremità
dell'albero motore e dell'alberino leva
cambio per facilitare l'inserimento del
coperchio ed evitare di danneggiare
l'anello di tenuta (4), se già installato

nel coperchio.
Mentre si posiziona il coperchio sul
semicarter, muovere leggermente le
13 pulegge distribuzione sull'albero di
rinvio per agevolare l'inserimento
dell'alberino di comando pompa.
Battere in più punti con martello in
gomma per aiutare l'inserimento del
coperchio negli alberi e nelle boccole
di centraggio.
Note
Nel caso fosse necessario
rimuovere nuovamente il coperchio,
utilizzare l'estrattore 88713.1749
applicato nei fori filettati in
corrispondenza dell'albero motore.
Impuntare le viti di fissaggio
seguendo le indicazioni della tabella.

Refitting the alternator
cover
Before starting the refitting
operations, make sure that the
following parts are installed in the
alternator cover (29):
crankshaft end bearing (27) with its
circlip;
alternator stator (33) with cable
retaining plate (31) and engine
sensor (8).
Fit the water pump assembly as
described in Section N 3.3
Clean off any deposits and degrease
the mating surfaces of the LH-
crankcase half and the alternator
cover.
Fit the two locating dowels (30).
Spread a continuous uniform bead of
DUCATI liquid gasket on the cover
contact surface, ensuring continuity
around the holes for the retaining
screws and bushes.
Use grease to lubricate the end of the
crankshaft and the gearbox shaft to
facilitate installation of the cover and
to prevent the oil seal (4) from being
damaged, if already installed in the
cover.
While positioning the cover on the
crankcase, slightly turn the timing belt
drive shaft pulleys to facilitate
insertion of the pump control shaft.
Tap the cover at different positions
with a rubber mallet to facilitate its
location on the shafts and locating
dowels.
remove the cover again, fit the puller
88713.1749 to the threaded holes
located in correspondence with the
crankshaft.
Insert the retaining screws in their
holes following the indications given
in the table.
