Regolazione cavi di
2 ÷ 4
comando acceleratore
La manopola di comando
dell'acceleratore in tutte le posizioni
di sterzata deve avere una corsa a
vuoto, misurata sulla periferia del
bordino della manopola, di 2÷4 mm.
Se è necessario regolarla, agire
sull'apposito registro (1) situato in
corrispondenza del comando stesso,
dopo aver allentato i registri (2).
Dopo aver regolato il gioco prescritto,
serrare i registri (2). Periodicamente è
necessario controllare la condizione
della guaina esterna del cavo di
comando acceleratore. Non deve
presentare schiacciamenti o

screpolature nel ricoprimento
plastico esterno.
Per mantenere la scorrevolezza dei
comandi lubrificare periodicamente
l'estremità del cavo di ogni
trasmissione flessibile con grasso
prescritto.
Verificare, agendo sul comando, il
funzionamento scorrevole del cavo
interno: se si manifestano attriti o
impuntamenti sostituirlo.
Per lubrificare il comando
acceleratore è necessario
rimuovere il coperchietto (8)
svitando le due viti (9) di fissaggio.
Ingrassare l'estremità (B) del cavo (10)
e la carrucola.
Richiudere con molta attenzione il
comando inserendo il cavo (10) nella
slitta (A) del coperchietto (8).
Bloccare il coperchio con le due viti (9)
di fissaggio serrandole alla coppia di
serraggio prescritta (Sez. C 3).

Adjusting the throttle
cables
The throttle cable should have
freeplay of 2 to 4 mm (measured in
terms of rotation of the twistgrip rim)
in all steering positions.
If necessary, adjust the freeplay
with the adjuster (1) located on the
twistgrip, after first slackening
adjusters (2).
After setting the specified play,
tighten adjusters (2). The condition
of the outer sheaths of the throttle
cables should be checked at regular
intervals. The plastic covering should
show no signs of pinching or cracking.
Lubricate the ends of the throttle
control cables with the prescribed
grease periodically to ensure they
run freely.
Operate the throttle to make sure the
inner cable slides smoothly inside the
outer cable. If you feel excessive
resistance or stiffness, renew the
cable.
To lubricate throttle cable, undo the
two screws (9) and remove the upper
half of the twistgrip housing (8).
Grease end (B) of cable (10) and the
control pulley.
Carefully close the throttle assembly
by inserting cable (10) in guide (A) on
the upper twistgrip housing (8).
Tighten the two screws (9) to the
specified torque (Sect. C 3).
