Rimontaggio forcellone
posteriore

Applicare grasso su entrambi i lati
12
del rasamento (12) scelto durante
la verifica del gioco assiale
(vedi paragrafo "Verifica gioco
assiale" di questo capitolo).
Posizionare il forcellone (4) sul motore
frapponendo sul lato sinistro il
rasamento (12) scelto.
Inserire il perno (19) opportunamente

lubrificato con grasso sul lato sinistro
con l'anello (20) e introdurlo per la
metà della sua lunghezza.
Spingere il braccio sinistro del
forcellone contro al blocco motore, ed
installare fra braccio destro e motore
il rasamento (12) scelto durante la
verifica del gioco assiale.
Inserire il perno (19) completamente,
facendo attenzione a non
danneggiare i rasamenti (12).
Inserire l'altro anello (20).
Ingrassare il filetto della vite (8) e
impuntarla sulla sede del forcellone.
Serrare la vite (8) il dado (11) alla
coppia prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Fascettare le tubazioni freno
posteriore e sensore velocità con le
fascette (22) fissandole al forcellone
con le viti (23).
Serrare le viti (23) alla coppia
prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Ricollegare il connettore (B) del
sensore velocità al cablaggio
principale.

Refitting the swingarm
Grease both faces of the shim (12)
you have selected after measuring
endfloat (see paragraph "Checking
swingarm endfloat" in this chapter).
Locate the swingarm (4) on the
engine interposing the selected
shim (12) on the left-hand side.
Insert the greased pivot shaft (19)
from the left-hand side, with the
circlip (20), to half its length.
Push the left arm of swingarm against
engine and fit between the right arm
and the engine the shim thickness (12)
determined after measuring the
endfloat.
Drive home fully the swingarm pivot
shaft (19) taking care not to damage
the shims (12).
Fit the other circlip (20).
Grease the thread of the bolt (8) start
it in its hole in the swingarm.
Tighten bolt (8) and nut (11) to the
specified torque (Sect. C 3).
Secure the rear brake hose and the
speed sensor with the clips (22),
which are fixed to the swingarm with
the screws (23).
Tighten screws (23) to the specified
torque (Sect. C 3).
Reconnect the speed sensor wiring
connector (B) to the main wiring
harness.
